Hi everybody
I think we got a lot done in yesterday’s session but as a consequence it might be a useful time to reflect on what we have learnt and what we still need to learn.
Comments please
Would you please comment on this post giving me:
- up to three things you feel confident that you understand so far;
- up to three things that you you need to do more work on;
Things to do on your blogs
- complete activity 402 making an entry on your blog and linking it to your web page which you have uploaded to your wiki;
- comment on at least one other post as soon as possible;
- at the end of the week take a look at who has commented on yours;
Remember that when somebody comments on your post you must comment on their post.
I understood the usefulness of tables BUT now realise we won’t be using these.
I understand the usefulness of alternative external stylesheets BUT don’t know how to prevent links defaulting back to the first style.
I need to do more work on uploading sites to my Wiki.

I feel confident about: -
* The issues of usability and accessibility
* Tables
I need to do more work on: -
* How to not let Dreamweaver change every little thing I do lol
* How to position a table in the dead centre of the screen, both horizontally and vertically

I feel confident with
* What accesibility and usability are and how you would create webpages to be like this.
* I understand how useful css can be when formating you pages to be the same with minimal extra work.
I need to work more on
* How to set things out using css rather than tables.
* How to change the css of a page with out having to create the page again and attaching the different css (that it if that is possible and i just don’t know how!)
